BIM Lead - Infrastructure

Job description / Role

I am working with a leading Consultancy in Qatar that need a BIM Lead to lead a mega infrastructure project. They will only accept candidates from a consultancy or client-side company.

Responsibilities include:
- Provides support to project delivery teams by managing the resolution of BIM related issues and tasks.
- Provide, direction and support to project designers and contractors for integration of the program’s BIM policy. Work with the client, their consultants and contractor to coordinate BIM issues with projects.
- Work with design teams to refine the models and BIM deliverable.
- Work with Owners and Consultants and Contractors to further define BIM scope and deliverables.
- Evaluation of Proposals about BIM.
- Assist with integrating BIM into the commissioning process.

Requirements

- Excellent management/leadership skills
- Experience in design or construction on infrastructure projects, minimum 10 years
- Experience with BIM implementation or management, minimum 5 years
- Technical knowledge of infrastructure tools (e.g. Autodesk Civil 3D, Infraworks, Navisworks)
- Experience with COBie and BIM handover for FM
