BIM Manager

Job description / Role

• Develop and implement BIM Execution Plans (BEPs), standards, workflows, and quality control protocols for design and construction phases.
• Lead BIM coordination meetings and ensure accurate model integration across architectural, structural, MEP, and civil disciplines.
• Manage Common Data Environments (CDE) and ensure proper version control and data integrity.
• Support project teams in the use of BIM tools such as Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and other software platforms.
• Conduct clash detection, model validation, and data quality checks to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Provide BIM training, onboarding, and support to internal teams and external partners.
• Collaborate with clients, consultants, and contractors to align BIM deliverables with contractual and regulatory requirements (e.g., QCS, Ashghal, and international BIM standards such as ISO 19650).
• Stay updated on emerging BIM technologies, trends, and best practices to drive continuous improvement and innovation.

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum 7–10 years of experience in BIM, with at least 3 years in a management or coordination role.
• Proficiency in BIM software (e.g., Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, BIM 360, AutoCAD, Dynamo, Solibri).
• In-depth understanding of BIM standards, digital construction workflows, and multidisciplinary coordination.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage teams and interact with stakeholders at all levels.
• Knowledge of regional construction regulations and digital delivery practices, especially in Qatar or the GCC.
• Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus.
• Valid QID and transferable sponsorship preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Autodesk Certified Professional or equivalent BIM certification.
• Familiarity with ISO 19650 standards and experience in implementing them.
• Experience in infrastructure or large-scale mixed-use development projects is an advantage.
