Job description / Role
Charterhouse is working with a travel company in Qatar. Our client is looking to hire a driven and proactive Branch Manager (Arabic Speaking) who has solid experience in the Travel, Tourism and Hospitality Industry.
Managing the operations, you will lead a team of up to 15 employees and will be responsible for the business development, marketing, day-to-day operations, customer service and credit control of the business (creditworthiness). Our client focuses mainly on B2B, however a portion of the business also comes from B2C, therefore it will be your responsibility to further expand and grow the business across both business lines.
Requirements
The successful candidate should have a Degree in Hospitality or Marketing, an IATA qualification and at least 10 years’ experience leading and managing a team. You should have strong knowledge of travel operations / branch management, business development, marketing and a proven track record of increasing turnover. You should also be an Arabic speaker who has previously worked in Qatar and who has experience in creditworthiness assessments.
