Job description / Role
A reputable multidisciplinary consultancy with an excellent and long standing reputation throughout the Middle East has an immediate opportunity for a Business Development Manager for Qatar.
You will be based out of Qatar and be responsible for maintaining and enhancing existing client relationships and identifying and developing new clients and opportunities across Qatar, predominantly within the property sector. This challenging and busy role will encompass but not be limited to identifying new opportunities and managing the proposal / bid / tender process, ensuring client presentations are delivered in line with marketing and branding efforts, leading initiatives to pre-qualify any client / project leads and working closely with other Managers to prepare business plans and conduct strategic planning for the business unit.
Requirements
To be considered for this role you will have a background in civil or structural engineering with 10+ years’ experience of working at a management level with an engineering consultancy. A proven track record of identifying and winning new projects within the Middle East as well as strong relationship building skills, impeccable presentation skills and a strong technical background are required. You will be ambitious, motivated and driven with a passion for business development.
