Employment: Full Time

Business Development Manager to work for a facades and curtain walling main contractor based in Doha Qatar. Please note you must have experience of Façade contractors to be considered for this position.

Job description:
• Typical relevant experience in Curtain Wall: 5 to 10 years
• European or Middle Eastern is fine as long with good communication skills
• Gulf or Qatar experience is preferred
• Responsible to search for new opportunities and to manage tender process and relation to the contractor, developer, architects and all other opinion leaders
• Responsible for pre and post-sale bid preparation functions; to analyse and understand tender requirements, drawings, studies, bill of materials and scope of work. Propose, strategize and manage the proposal development process to effectively meet customers' needs and enhance the competitive position of the offer
• Ensure the delivery of requested information for the Pre-Qualification meeting
• Evaluate execution times, study and preparation (PERT, graphs, etc.), processing times, as per time constraints
• Estimate the global cost of jobs/projects to be executed and/or specific product broken down, in direct and indirect steps - include an analysis which confirms the tender has defined the scope of work and a program evidencing areas which do align with client perspectives
• Provide the Risk Assessment form with all project information that is to be examined and approved during the Risk Assessment Committee Meeting.
• Work closely with other functions (involve Production Manager, Procurement Manager, Construction Coordinator, Quality Manager and feasible Project Managers), involving and maximizing input to manage the overall requirements to develop a reliable and realizable tender
• Discuss and review the tendering budget with the PM and other key managers during kick-off meeting, to define a common proposed Kick Off budget
• Establish and maintain operational budgets for his team personnel and equipment
• Responsible for pre and post-sale bid preparation functions, to analyse and understand tender requirements, propose, strategize and manage the proposal development process to effectively meet customers' needs and enhance the competitive position of the offer.
