Business Development Manager - Real Estate and F&B (Arabic preferred)

Charterhouse is working with a local corporate identity in Qatar who is looking to hire a Business Development Manager who can infiltrate the local market, selling both commercial and residential real estate. Due to our client’s diversified business, the successful candidate will also work closely with key management, assisting with the growth of F&B franchise opportunities under the F&B Division. This role is challenging and your hard work will be rewarded with incentives on KPI’s.

Key responsibilities will include creating a pipeline of potential business deals by prospecting new customers, proactively engaging in sales calls to new prospects and closing business deals. You will also be responsible for developing and negotiating contracts, participating in contract requirements and coordinating sales with all internal/external stakeholders. Furthermore you will work with senior management researching and developing new F&B franchise concepts and ventures to bring into the Qatar market under the F&B Division. This includes market analysis reporting, sourcing and negotiating franchise agreements and contracts as well as bid management and negotiations.

Requirements

The successful candidate should be University Educated and have a minimum of 8 years’ experience in a Business Development Manager role, with both Real Estate and F&B experience. Qatar knowledge is preferred but not essential, however it is essential that you have a strong and proven ability to prospect and close deals, be able to build key relationships and have excellent negotiation skills. Arabic is highly preferred due to the requirements of this role, selling within the Qatari market space. This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially astute charismatic individual who can command presence.
