Employment: Full Time

The Business Services Coordinator is responsible for providing procurement services to WCM-Q. Reporting to the Business Services Manager, this role will work closely with end users to ensure prompt, efficient delivery of services, establishing and maintaining relationships with outside vendors, service providers and the end user to ensure compliance and continuous improvement in service delivery.

POSITION ACTIVITIES:
- Co-ordinates the procurement of all services at WCM-Q i.e. catering, hotel bookings, contracted services and events. Maintains contacts and consults with end users to assess their needs in relation to tenders/bids/quotations and other such services
- Coordinates and prepares bid requests, proposals and quotations for services. Summarizes findings for analysis and decision making.
- Receives shopping carts for services, issues purchase orders in a timely manner to suppliers.
- Establishes and maintains effective working relationship with service providers in order to satisfy requests and requirements of end users. Is point of contact for customer requests, ensuring timely and professional resolution of issues. Promptly follows up with venders to ensure customers needs are being met.
- Investigates and qualifies service suppliers based on demand and seeks new sources of suppliers.
- Is responsible for producing reports as requested. Complies Data, coordinates the information and presents it in a timely manner for approval.
- Works closely with divisions, in particular Communications, to coordinate printing and designing gifts.
- Provides backup and coverage for the Business Services Division as required.
- Assists with administrative tasks for the division as requested.
- Performs other related and similar duties as required.

Requirements

- BA/BS degree with 2 years prior experience in Procurement.
- High School diploma equivalent certification with 5 years prior experience in Procurement
- Previously demonstrated negotiating skills.
- Previously demonstrated multi-tasking ability in a results oriented environment
- Previously demonstrated excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Previously demonstrated fluency in the English language
- Prior experience working in a cross-cultural environment Previously demonstrated experience with Micro Soft office products; including word processing, presentation software and spread sheets
- Previously demonstrated organizational, administrative and interpersonal skills.
- Previously demonstrated ability to work independently and safeguard confidential information

HIGHLY DESIRED REQUIREMENTS:
- BA BS in Finance, Accounting, Commerce or similar
- Prior experience with SAP.
- Prior working experience in a research, medical or educational environment.
- Read, write and speak Arabic.

Working Conditions/Physical Demands:
Work typically takes place in a normal office environment requiring: Standing, Walking, Sitting and Operating a PC and other office equipment.
