Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Your typical day at work:
- To demonstrate sound classroom practice and innovation.
- To teach Business Studies to students from a variety of age groups.
- To mark and assess work regularly and to take part in the department’s quality assurance procedures
- To monitor student progress and set targets to ensure expected progress is achieved
- To work as part of a team, attend regular meetings and provide a major input into departmental development
- Meet course and school-wide student performance goals.
- Participate in ongoing training sessions.
- Plan, evaluate, and revise curriculum, course content, and course materials and methods of instruction.
- To contribute to the wider life of the school.
- To participate in the school’s programme of continuing professional development.

Details:
- Contract type: Full Time
- Contract term: Permanent
- Salary: 1,800-2,600 British pounds tax free (negotiable)
- Housing allowance: 1,200 - 1500 British pounds depending on marital status
- Yearly flight for yourself and 1 dependent
- Medical insurance for yourself and 1 dependent
- An additional allowance payment for a candidate who is able to lead a team

Requirements

- At least 5 years of teaching experience.
- Minimum Requirement: BTEC in Business.
- Candidates with PGCE / PDGE, Bachelor of Education or Similar Teaching Qualification from a UK, Australian, Canadian or American institute are also encouraged to apply. Celta & Telf Not Accepted.
