Business Teacher

Job description / Role

Computer Science-Business Teacher needed for subjects at different levels of Secondary grades for International School teaching the UK Curriculum. To develop lesson plans and themes in line with British curriculum objectives. Facilitate learning by establishing a relationship with students and organizing learning resources and the classroom environment.

Meeting with parents or guardians, teachers, counselors and administrators to resolve any possible behavioural or academic problem. Must also establish clear objectives for all lessons, and projects, distribute, collect and grade homework assignments, tests and projects and attend staff meetings.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or Business from a recognized University in the UK, US, CA, AU, NZ, ZA ( preferably in the UK due to British Curriculum used)
- TEACHING LICENSE FROM ONE OF THE FOLLOWING COUNTRIES: UK, US, CA, AU, NZ, ZA

Required Experience:
- Must have excellent English communications skills and could pass an IELTS at level 6.5
- Minimum 2 years ICT-Computer science and/or Business teaching experience at Secondary grade levels
- Culturally sensitive, dependable, flexible and able to work in a continuously changing environment

Monthly Salary Range:
TAX FREE monthly salary from QAR 11,000 to 13,000 depending on experience and qualifications

Housing:
- FREE Furnished 1-2 bedroom apartment depending on family status
- OR Housing Allowance given according to family status
- Utilities paid at QAR 300 for Singles and 500 for Married couples
- Transportation back and forth to school from provided accommodation
