Job description / Role

A multibrand luxury business renowned for their global portfolio of premium and luxury designer fashion is seeking a Buyer with strong experience both internationally or in the Middle East. We are seeking an individual who has around 5 years buying experience with a premium/ luxury multi-brand business. This role will be based in Qatar and report directly into the Managing Director. You will be working collaboratively across a multi category portfolio consisting of womenswear RTW, menswear RTW, accessories, footwear and leather goods

Responsibilities:
* Drive the creative direction and source new products whilst negotiating the best terms.
* Manage the performance of the portfolio and work cross functionally to drive sales and maximise profitability
* Partnering with the merchandise team, you will plan the OTB and monitor and review in season, taking action where necessary
* Developing relationships with multiple global luxury/premium brands
* Managing product performance in the stores and arrange regular meetings with the concession and floor managers to analyse performance
* Work closely with the marketing teams to maximise opportunities and sales

Requirements

* Experience as a multi-brand buyer is essential
* At least 3-8 years\' experience buying womenswear contemporary or premium brand
* Strategic with a solid understanding of the product
* Strong understanding of Global and Middle Eastern market trends
* Strong negotiator and have the ability to influence and motivate a team
* Creative, innovative and highly commercial approach
* Be proactive and enthusiastic and want to be a part of a growing team.
* Open to international travel to attend seasonal buying trip
