We are now seeking an exceptional CAD/ GIS Technician to join our award winning team based in Doha, Qatar.

This position is responsible for preparing drawings and designs for construction projects according to engineering standards and project requirements.

Responsibilities

We envisage success in this role to include;

- Interpreting as-built drawings, maps, graphs, aerial images, recognizing and resolving discrepancies in data and take necessary action to ensure quality of information is accurate and acceptable.
- Developing progress presentation in 2D/3D or as directed by the Engineer.
- Demonstrating knowledge in new GIS web mapping application for use by GIS staff.
- Demonstrating experience on the use of computer aided drafting software, AutoCAD etc.
- Performing clash analysis and preparing interface/ combined layout drawings for networks and other utilities or underground road structures.
- Converting, importing and exporting data in and out of the GIS System.

Requirements

Qualifications

- To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision you have minimum 10 years relevant experience couple with a Bachelors Degree or Equivalent from an accredited college and thorough knowledge of CAD and GIS tools such as ESRI, AutoCAD etc.
