Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Our client is a major Facilities Management Service Provider with an excellent reputation in the Middle East markets. Due to continued expansion, our client is looking to recruit a CAFM Specialist to join its team based in Doha, Qatar.

The CAFM Specialist will essentially be responsible for managing the Computer Aided Facilities Management and Computerized Maintenance Management Systems, operating manuals etc.

- Participate in the assembly and the preparation of the CMMS software for projects
- Review data and perform data cleansing before its fed to the system
- Ensure that all equipment data is entered in the system
- Update the Master Maintenance Schedule
- Update the work routines on equipment
- Ensure the implementation of the CMMS system
- Improve the performance and efficiency of the maintenance system on site
- Carry out system adjustments and updates related to the project needs
- Train personnel on CMMS system
- Provide prompt resolution to customer inquiries by providing appropriate and accurate information
- Understand all programs, systems, and procedures necessary to perform job effectively
- Ensure the proper cataloguing and filing of all building drawings, Operation Manuals etc
- Maintain a library of technical references and codes.
- Communicate feedback and progress to management
- Attend safety meetings and daily toolbox talks with all subordinates to increase safety awareness.
- Adhere with all SNC and the client HSE policies and procedures.
- Provide feedback to management concerning possible problems or areas of improvement
- Make recommendations to implement improved processes

Requirements

- Degree qualified in relevant related discipline due to visa restrictions
- Experience working in the Property / Facilities Management sectors
- A Minimum of 3 years’ experience working in data entry and management of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
- Excellent communication skills
