Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Cargo Customer Services Agent (Sri Lanka and Philippines) - Qatar Aviation Services - Doha

You will handle Import and transit documentation and notify consignee of the arrival of freight and collects payment for handling charges as well as accept cargo based on IATA regulations.

You will attend to queries and email correspondence on timely manner which requires special handling and approval. You will also ensure to provide a total customer satisfaction with service quality excellence.

Requirements

You would need to have a High School Qualification with excellent spoken and written English Language as well as Computer literacy.

A good command over spoken and written Arabic would be an advantage.

Work experience in Ground Handling/Air Cargo Operations/Warehousing as well as familiarity with acceptance of Dangerous Goods/Live Animals would be preferred, as well as a strong Customer Service Experience background.

You would need to have a minimum of 2 years of job-related experience with a minimum of 2 to 3 years’ experience in Air Cargo Handling/Freight Handling, knowledge of overall Cargo operations and Cargo reservation and tracking system.
