Catering Sales Manager

Job description / Role

As the Catering Sales Manager, your responsibilities include:
• Manages all the corporate and social catering for the hotel
• Assists and coordinates all the catering opportunities
• Financial responsibilities: achieves the sales targets as per the budget, experience in managing the budget and providing forecasting reports, good knowledge in managing the P&L in order to maximize the profit of the department
• Business development by approaching new corporate and leisure clients
• Development of new menu in order to maximize the sales
• Manages the existing data base and updates it by maintaining a consistent relationship with the existing and potential new clients
• Market mapping of catering industry in Qatar
• Creative in organizing unique catering events

Salary:
QAR 6000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
Additional benefits: Single Accommodation, Transport, Flight every 1 year, Medical

Requirements

Requirements for an Ideal Candidate (Catering Sales Manager):
• Excellent negotiating skills
• Business English skills: client correspondence via phone and e-mail, generating catering proposals, writing contracts tailored for each client’s needs
• Be able to work long hours maintaining a positive attitude
• Minimum 2-3 years experience on a supervisor/ managerial level in catering in 5* hotels in GCC
