Employment: Full Time

Description:
Stantec is currently seeking a Change Manager to be based in our Qatar office. The Change Manager will support all the change management activities for our client’s Assets Affairs and its two Departments i) Drainage Networks Operations and Maintenance and ii) Roads Maintenance. The candidate will report directly to the Change Manager Lead.

Responsibilities:
- Effect the required changes in behaviour by Assets Affairs staff due to the shift in working practices including new supply chain models, adoption of new technology solutions centered on customer and asset management, and working to agreed business objectives / personal targets
- Support leadership development of Qatari nationals at all levels within Assets Affairs’ organisational structure
- Build organisational change agility through equipping and developing Assets Affairs’ staff with agile problem solving skills to make the right decisions
- Instilling an accountable outcomes-focused culture within the business and our partners where everything done is right for our customers and aligned with Ashghal’s strategy
- Establishing ‘one team’ within the business where high calibre people and partners efficiently and cost effectively deliver the critical and valued operations and maintenance works for our customers
- Establish, track and communicate positive changes and benefits delivered in Assets Affairs, highlight issues and progress made to address them.

Requirements

Qualification and General Experience:
- Bachelor's degree is required. Master’s degree is a strong asset. Degree preferably related to Engineering or HR
- More than 5 years of general experience
- Ideally more than 3 years experience in change and/or culture transformation
- Professional experience and knowledge of change management principles, tools and methodologies
- Strong organizational, presentation, and customer service skills
- Demonstrated a strong experience in transfer knowledge / capacity building

Person Specifications:
- Experience working in a utility / engineering environment, ideally working on a large scale international project combined with at least one experience with large-scale organizational change effort
- Previous experience in the consultancy environment is a strong benefit
- Previous middle east change implementation experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong interpersonal skills are required
- Strong experience in stakeholder management is required
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross functional teams

- English/Arabic speaker preferred.
