My client is one of the global leaders in Chemical Shipping and the largest container operator in the Middle East. They are currently seeking a CEO who will be responsible for leadership, corporate governance and strategic planning of this industry leader.

The successful candidate will provide direction and leadership towards the achievement of the organisation's philosophy, culture, mission, strategy, implementation and attainment of business objectives.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have 20 years’ experience in shipping, an MBA and at least 10 - 15 years’ experience in chemical shipping industry. You will be able to develop, communicate and execute a vision and a strategy for the company while managing all critical business functions. The successful candidate will possess financial acumen; the ability to manage risk; and the means to formulate a plan of action and execute it decisively. You must have an analytical mind and a clear understanding of what factors positively influence the P&L.
