Chief Investment Officer - Qatar
CLIENT

Linum Consult’s client is a large company operating out of Qatar. They are currently seeking a Chief Investment Officer to be based in their Doha office.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Developing and communicating investment and growth strategies
• Contributing to the company’s business strategy
• Managing and developing the investment team
• Supervising and overseeing the investment process
• Establishing processes to ensure investment policies are followed
• Making decisions on asset allocation, selection of external managers, and risk management across portfolios

PROFILE

• University degree in Finance, Business Administration, or similar relevant subject, ideally with a Masters or Post-Graduate qualification
• Minimum of 15 years’ experience within the private equity sector, or with consulting companies working in the real estate sector
• Experience in acquisitions, asset divestments, with strong working knowledge of which assets to dissolve/acquire
• Excellent knowledge of growth strategies and experience in transactions
• Fluent in English, with strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Previous experience working in the Middle East, and exposure to multicultural environments

Salary:
QAR 75,000 to 80,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
