Job description / Role
- Recovery of internal ARCADIS claim amounts from clients
- Interface and business development with external clients
- Delivery of professional and independent advice to internal and
- To work to the direction of the assignment / team lead
- To produce high quality written and electronic claim documents
- To take a pro-active role within each claims team
- Will be responsible for complying, and ensuring compliance, with the ARCADIS General Business Principles
Requirements
- Degree qualified in construction or engineering related discipline
- Demonstrable direct experience in the preparation of construction based contractual claim documents
- Professional qualification would be an advantage – MCIArb
- Ability to work with only part time supervision.
- High standard of written English
- Good standard skills in Word, Excel and presentation software
- Able to produce narrative and cost calculations
- Understanding of cost and time issues under construction contracts
- Some knowledge of FIDIC and FIDIC derived contracts
- Able to take and analyse specialist and expert information
- Be accountable for their own work.
- Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
- Flexible and mobile with good team skills
