Employment: Full Time

Scope and Objectives

The cluster revenue analyst, will provide support to the revenue management department, in order to increase revenues for all revenue generating channels of the hotels.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties

Responsibilities:

- Analyzing and reporting trends (bookings, cancellations etc.) across different segments and channels to understand hotels and market demand patterns and recommend selling strategies
- Analyzing and reporting trends for all revenue generating channels.
- Conducting regular audits of Property Management Systems, online and offline distribution systems ensuring accuracy of rates, package information and availability.
- Tracking competitive set pricing and yield strategies, understanding the comp set's reaction to changes in the marketplace.
- Maintaining rate parity across all channels and working with partners to resolve any rate parity issues
- Support the implementation and monitoring of rate and inventory controls across all systems
- Ensuring that inventory allocation and pricing parameters are positioned to support the overall revenue goals of the hotel.
- Working with Revenue Management Team to determine effective and engaging rate offers/packages.
- Monitoring along with the reservations team bookings to ensure revenue management strategy is implemented
- Providing guidance to the reservations, sales, front office and operations teams on Revenue Management principles.
- Monitoring to ensure telephone sales techniques are employed in such a way as to support the selling strategies and driving customer loyalty.
- Preparing materials for the weekly Revenue Strategy Meetings as per guidelines and changing market conditions.
- Preparing timely revenue summaries as required by the Revenue Management Team.
- Reviewing and providing feedback on commentaries for each market segment.
- Participating in the planning processes for the hotel budget, forecast, marketing and strategic plans.

Requirements

Key Roles & Responsibilities

- Excellent Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint skills
- Knowledge of Ideas RMS system .
- Strong analytical, organizational and administrative skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Food and beverage revenue management knowledge is a plus
- Previous revenue management and reservations experience
- Strong problem solving abilities
- Adapt to change quickly and strong multi-tasking
- Bachelor's degree
