Commercial Manager

Job description / Role

• Support all commercial matters and issues in relation to project progress control and monitoring yet examine and asses reported commercial issues such as procurement, general tender and contract management and post contract matters. All at corporate level.
• Support, build and recommend procurement strategies and contract economics for future programs.
• Support the PPP unit.
• Support TO contracts such as BIM and constructing excellence.
• Support studying and reviewing commercial issues referred to TO by President and other Departments, where applicable.
• Support Vendor Management Unit (VMU) and assist in supply chain and procurement strategies
• Support Reporting Team with commercial and contractual reviews and input on program/ project performance
• Other relevant activities as directed by TO.

Requirements

• Fluency in English languages both written and spoken. Arabic knowledge is preferred
• Knowledge of design and construction management on buildings and civil infrastructure projects including utilities interface and coordination management.
• Particular experience of dealing with cash flow management, planning, budgeting, payments, earned value, change management, vendor and supply chain management.
• Experience and skills in developing and managing Procurement Strategies and Contract Management.
• 15 years post graduate relevant experience
• BSc in related skill subject
• Chartered Engineer desirable
