Job description / Role
Command Recruitment are working closely with a major financial institution in the Middle East and are looking for an experienced Commercial Manager.
Our client is in the process of building the core and shell of their new Head Quarters which will be a Landmark project designed by one of the world’s most prestigious Architecture practices.
We are looking for a Commercial Manager to lead all contractual matters representing our client with contractors, sub-contractors and suppliers for fit out and MEP of the project (pre to post contract).
You will have experience in:
- Negotiating terms and conditions, preparing contracts and evaluating bids for our organization.
- Drafting and editing contracts, communicating with vendors and ensuring that contracts meet all regulatory requirements.
- Working with our legal department and directly with vendors to help draft, edit, and process legal contracts as needed.
- High Tech Corporate fit outs and or High Rise Projects.
Requirements
- High Rise and Fit Out Commercial Management Experience.
You will have:
- At least 10 years in commercial management of high profile corporate fit outs for global highly regulated institutions (e.g. Global Financial Institutions and/or Legal Practices)
- A degree qualified in a related industry (Architecture, Project Management, Building Services, Engineering, Construction)
- Worked on projects from CRADLE to GRAVE
- Experience working client side or for a Project / Construction Management Consultancy
- Develop and implement effective procurement proposal
- Research regulations to ensure contracts are updated and in compliance with laws
- Coordinate with clients to guarantee terms of contracts are fulfilled in compliance with the terms and regulations
- Handle breach of contracts in a timely manner
- RICS Certified
- FIDIC Experience
The project will last circa 3 to 4 years and our client is offering full expatriate terms (which are tax free) for the duration of the project
