Commercial & Partnership Marketing Manager - Qatar Airways - Doha

Qatar Airways has an exciting new vacancy for a Commercial & Partnership Marketing Manager to join our Doha-based team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading commercial projects and marketing campaigns for Qatar Airways including new destinations and partnerships led by at global and regional level.
* Manage the delivery of Global and regional campaigns related to assigned regions to support Brand, Tactical and commercial driven campaigns.
* Manage roll out of allocated campaigns on time, accurately and within budget, and ensure ROI is achieved post evaluation is conducted
* Manage Tourism Boards, Airport and other Partnerships. Negotiate marketing support and ensure revenue generation driven to support the Commercial identified routes under each partnership.
* Support the continual refinement of marketing plans to ensure the best possible results and successful execution across regions assigned throughout the financial year versus Commercial Targets. Work closely with other teams to maintain a comprehensive market / product and consumer knowledge, and ensure all communications are grounded in customer insight.
* Communicate with key internal stakeholders to ensure that all respective marketing campaigns for assigned regions are fully integrated across the business. This includes wider marketing team, corporate communication, Ecommerce, Customer Experience and Regional Marketing teams.
* Lead projects with IT to create workflows and automation of process. These projects relates to automate current offline workflows such as MABs which was launched during the financial year with various phases to be implemented throughout the financial year and more could be initiated in the coming financial years.
* Work closely with Head Office Brand, Research and Creative team to support regional teams ensure brand consistency across the regions.
* Leading Commercial Projects assigned by department head to support the business and Commercial initiative which directly attributes to Revenue and achieving targets.
* Conduct weekly/ monthly reviews with regions for performance analysis and planning to ensure Global/ Regional marketing plans approved by HO Marketing are in progress as defined and post evaluation with clear ROI are well measured, ensure regions are up to speed, as well discuss any challenges that could support and overcome.
* Ensure for every Global and Regional campaign supported/ led by HO Commercial Marketing, pre and post ROI analysis are in place, well measured and ensure spend effectiveness via various channels (Online & Offline).
* Contribute to the creation of content for marketing communications campaigns, which include digital and print advertisements, radio advertisements, trade marketing material and collateral.
* Work closely with the Regional Marketing Managers, various business units at HO departments under the leadership of Commercial Marketing Management to ensure that marketing initiatives are integrated into Qatar Airways’ overall Commercial and Marketing strategy.
* Review existing processes and procedures to facilitate support for the Regional Marketing Managers and various Commercial business units relating to creative timelines, communication guidelines, yearly marketing plans guidelines and KPIs.

Requirements

You will have a Bachelors degree in Marketing or Communications with a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in marketing or advertising, client service/ account management, campaign management.

You will have a proven track-record of producing content and developing marketing campaigns for multi-national / international brands and preferably you will have experience working with airline or travel industry brands.

In addition, you will have the following job specific skills:

* Proven writing, editing and proofreading skills, with an ability to convey complex ideas in an engaging and unambiguous manner with clarity and precision.
* Strong Project Management skills to deliver a project from concept to execution.
* Strong conceptual and research/analytical skills, with the ability to think strategically and to rapidly analyse and integrate diverse information from varied sources and transform these into relevant communications content.
* Ability to create original content with the objective to inform and entertain via written, oral, and visual media.
* Ability to work as a part of team and cross functionally across matrix style organisation.
