Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Objectives:
- Supports the development of a Total Rewards strategy.
- Develops and implements proposals to improve and maintain the company's competitiveness in the market.
- Carries out job evaluation using the Hay method paying due notice to existing comparable jobs as a result of internal benchmarking and external competitiveness.
- Preparation of job descriptions.
- Advises management on appropriate job levels within the company and recommended compensation elements for all positions

Main responsibilities:
- Monitor the organization’s salary structure and benefits provision to ensure a balance between control of costs and attracting and retaining staff.
- Leads in formal compensation surveys, interprets the survey data and monitors the market salary lines, changes, & trends with respect to cost of living, inflation, housing etc. Liaise with salary survey agencies for group salary surveys as and when required
- Designs and implements specific compensation & benefits policy.
- Leads in the reviews of salaries for conformance to company policy.
- Providing support to other departments across the organisation in developing and finalising job descriptions in accordance with Company Policy.
- Conduct job evaluation of various positions across the organisation, using appropriate primary and secondary sources
- Prepares statistical analysis, summaries and recommendations for management reports
- Conducts statistical analysis of compensation data as requested
- Models financial impact of compensation plans and programmes.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Business Management OR HR Management OR related discipline
- Membership of regional or international compensation & benefits association desired
- Minimum 5-7 years of applicable HR generalist experience.
- Excellent PC skills, knowledge of applicable HR software packages
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
- SAP experience is highly desirable
- Strong working knowledge in statistical analysis/methods required.
