Employment: Full Time

The role of the Compliance and Business Process Improvement Specialist is to assist in developing the overall compliance and business process improvement framework for a well known construction related company in Doha, Qatar. This professional will assist all directorates in process redesign and re-engineering. Perform compliance monitoring reviews to ensure policies and procedures are adhered to and corrective/preventive action plans are in place. Maintain the central repository of all policies and procedures of the company.

Key Accountabilities

• Ensure understanding and compliance of all departments to policies and procedures through compliance reviews.
• Develop recommendations for corrective actions and coordinate with department head to refine recommendations and develop action plans in the case of misalignment with policies and procedures.
• Manage the central repository of all policies and procedures.
• Perform compliance monitoring reviews.
• Perform research of best practice operational and business processes for development companies.
• Perform identification, review, and analysis to improve existing business and operations processes to meet set goals and objectives.
• Develop process and system improvement initiatives and review with leadership.
• Perform implementation of approved process and system improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate teams across the departments to drive initiatives.
• Coordinate with Sustainability to identify and pursue Corporate Excellence certifications and Operational Excellence certifications.
• Develop internal and external surveys to measure different parameters across the company (including event surveys), in coordination with Communications & PR, Strategic Planning, and departments.

Requirements

Minimum Qualification and Experience

• Bachelor degree in Engineering, Finance, or Business Administration.
• ISO and Six Sigma Certifications preferred.
• 7 - 9 years of experience in Compliance.
• A strong understanding of the construction/ real estate business, policies and procedures.
• Experience in developing policies and procedures.
• Strong conflict resolution/ management skills. Strong communication skills.
• Knowledge of business and operational processes international best practices.
• Project management skills.
• Solid communication, coordination and organizational skills.
• Strategic thinking experience.
