Compliance & Regulatory Director

Job description / Role

Client is looking for a Senior Director with expertise in the field of Regulatory Compliance & Risk Management.

Job Purpose: Complete regulatory reporting framework proportionally aligned with latest international developments

Specific Duties:
- Manage a team and Ensure the close alignment of statutory reporting
- Regulatory standards
- International Financial Reporting Standards
- Risk-based assesments
- Reflection of management accounts in statutory regulatory reporting

The package is exceptional in the region US$270k equivalent Plus all Expat Benefits and Bonus.

Requirements

- Applicants must have around 15 years experience both in a regulatory and financial services industry environment
- Must be Chartered Accountant with strong working knowledge of current international financial reporting and assurance practices and developments
- Must have experience in Involvement in industry standard-setting formulation and implementation, particularly in accounting and financial services
- Strong experience in systems utilisation, e.g. XBRL
- A strong understanding of risk and risk management practices
