Construction Director - Qatar

Our client is a reputable international engineering consultancy with strong global presence. They have an urgent requirement for Chartered Construction Director to oversee large scale infrastructure projects.

Main Responsibilities:
- Responsible for managing and leading a diverse team of professionals including Engineers, Designers, Quantity Surveyors and Contractors
- Deliver on all technical and commercial aspects of the project as per the contract requirements
- Ensure compliance with the Business Management System
- Direct staff and resources to meet programme delivery requirements
- Manage the Construction Manager’s performance of delegated responsibilities
- Liaise with clients and Negotiate contract terms
- Develop strategies and ensure executions of plans

Requirements

- BSc in Civil Engineering or similar Engineering discipline is essential
- Must have a chartership
- Must have a minimum of 20 years’ experience
- At least 15 years in a managerial position, leading large teams
- Expertise in infrastructure projects (rail/roads/highways/airports)
- Must understand FIDIC contracts
