Job description / Role
This is a role for an experienced Quantity Surveyor who has excellent experience on the Contractor side. Particularly in preparing claims against clients and defending against subcontract claims. Our client is a major Contractor and they are looking to strengthen their contracts team, you will be dealing with both direct and indirect variations, pricing claims, other pricing tasks and some delay work.
The type of project experience you have had is not so important, but you must be able to demonstrate your experience with pricing claims. If you have experience writing claims then even better.
Requirements
The ideal candidate must have a BSc in either Quantity Surveying or Engineering and between 5-10 years’ experience. You should have experience working in the Middle East and immediate starters will be favoured. Fluency in English is important, both spoken and written. You should be able to demonstrate when you have led a small team and be comfortable supervising people.
