Job description / Role

- Knowledge of the concepts of modern thought the latest regulatory developments in this field and transfer of staff technicians keep up.
- Preparation of annual auditing plan project for the office, and submit it to the Head of section and follow up implementation after approval.
- Responsible for auditing of all financial accounts for the fiscal year in all companies that follow the section depend of auditing programs.
- Review and evaluate its reports ,audit program and work methods; and suggest the proper methods for developing them.
- Assist with writing the finding, recommendation reports using suitable formula.
- Inform the controller or Head of section of any defalcation, conversion or forgery with evidence. With suggestion of action need to be taken.
- Check the systems, works and reports of the Internal control units in auditees. Review and evaluate its reports and work methods; and suggest the proper methods for developing them.
- Guidance the members of the auditors with overseeing them, and work to increase awareness of the oversight and development of their knowledge.
- Keep abreast of the latest developments related to the field of Specialization and make appropriate suggestions for the development work and to raise the efficiency of performance.
- Preparation of auditing programs related to the office works.
- Determine methods, percent’s and samples of accounts auditing and financial operations subject.
- Discuss the finding mentioned in the drafts of the reports with the concerned officials in the Auditee after discusses with head of section.
- Preparation of necessary comment on the reply of Auditee, on the finding mentioned in the office reports, and submit them to the Head of section.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Accounting / Finance / Business , Master Degree and Doctor is preferred .
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA)/ Chartered Accountant (CA), or equivalent.
- 10+ years of experience audit in Oil & Gas company or Investment auditees .
- Knowledge of the basics of management (planning, organizing, monitoring, assessment …) .
- The ability to manage teamwork .
- fluently in English and prefer with Arabic language .
- Ability to work within a team.
- A good level in the use of the computer to perform his functions.
- The ability to study, analyze and understand the problems and find solutions.
- The ability to adapt to business requirements.
- The ability to learn and self-development according to the requirements of the job.
- The ability to use Teammate or any other new audit system used in the future .
