Job description / Role
Charterhouse is working with a leading law firm who is looking to hire an experienced Corporate / Commercial Associate / Senior Associate with 3 - 10 PQE + to join its Doha practice. The firm would be interested in a high quality Common Law qualified Junior Associate to undertake a broad ranging corporate transactional and commercial role.
The role will involve working closely with the Partners in the firm’s Doha office, as well as part of the wider Middle East and international network. The firm is long standing in the Middle East market, with a good reputation and client base. The firm is looking for a Corporate Lawyer to undertake M&A, Private Equity, JV’s, ECM, corporate advisory along with some commercial work as required. This is an excellent opportunity to join well established law firm in the Doha market with clear long-term career developments prospects and the opportunity to work on high profile deals on offer for an ambitious individual.
Requirements
The successful candidate should be a Common Law qualified Corporate Solicitor with 3 - 10 years + post qualification experience gained at an international / legal directories ranked law firm and experience of dealing with a broad range of corporate and commercial work. The work will involve acting for high profile clients and complex matters, so demonstrable experience of leading on transactions is essential, combined with excellent academics. Arabic language skills are desirable, but not required. The firm is interested in a high calibre Lawyer, either already based in the Doha / Middle East or interested in relocating.
