Title: COS3: Manager, Operations (Contingency Hire)

Please Note: Position is contingent upon contract award.

POSITION SUMMARY:
Operations Manager is responsible for the administrative/operational leadership of the Community Order Support Services Section (COS3) Task Order within the guidelines established by the Project Manager, customer, or contract stipulations. Coordinates activities between resource managers to ensure all necessary reviews and approvals are met. Skills required for this job are typically acquired through 10+ years of experience, 4 of which should be in management / leadership roles.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Direct and manage COS3 Site operations to respond to Government taskings, requests for information, requirements changes, and other communications. Ensure all reporting requirements are complete, correct, and submitted on time.
- Implement and manage COS3 operations, processes, programs, and plans IAW applicable directives ensuring personnel, resources, life cycle management, training, contingencies, and site management requirements as specified by the contract.
- Represent the Project Manager when required.
- Promote and instill KBR's commitment to Zero Harm throughout the team.

MATERIAL & EQUIPMENT DIRECTLY USED:
- Use of Land Mobile Radios, cell phones, laptop, and other devices to maintain contact and accountability of work activities.
- Operate a motorized vehicle in an urban environment.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT:
- Work will be indoors and outdoors.
- Exposure to heat, cold, dust, noise, may occur.
- Overtime and shift work may be required depending on contractual needs.
- Employee must comply with all Federal, State and Local regulations and published Company work rules as well as written instructions.
- Task specific work environment training maybe provided.

PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES:
- Day-to-day physical requirements may involve standard office activities including sitting/standing for extended periods of time, attending meetings, use of keyboard and mouse repetitively, lifting and carrying less than 20 lbs. frequently, etc.
- Work requires moderate physical exertion including walking to operating areas and walking up stairs.

Requirements

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education/Certifications :
- Must have high school degree or GED.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen with a current, valid U. S. Passport and U. S. Driver's License.
- Must be able to obtain a U. S. SECRET Security Clearance.
- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English fluently.

Experience:
- Minimum 4 years' experience in operations management / leadership roles.
- 10+ years of operations experience.

Skills:
- Project management, pro-active, well organized, results-oriented, and team player with decision-making ability.
- Use computers & related software such as Microsoft Office and other common products used in office environments and that support the US Department of State.
- Able and willing to work periods of long hours to meet mission requirements.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with documented supervisory experience.

Desired Skills:
- Project Management Professional preferred but not required.
- Bachelor's Degree from accredited four-year college preferred but not required.
