Employment: Full Time

We are looking for a Cost Control Manager to work on Doha Metro project, Qatar

• You will monitor the cash flow of the project and review the cash flow presented by the Contractor on a monthly basis and other times as required.
• Issue a periodic Cost Report including Cumulative Actual Costs, Cost To Completion and Estimate to Completion.
• Provide Cost Engineering estimate services for MSI/SM Contractor change requests, value engineering change proposals, claims, and provisional sum work for review and recommendation by the Engineer and Contract teams.
• Ensure that contemporary records are maintained which provides sufficient detail and information to support claims or variations
• Verify the monthly Contractors Interim Payment Application (IPA) and recommend the Interim Payment Certificate (IPC) to the Engineer/ Engineer’s Assistant.
• Supervise Monthly IPA process and recommend the IPC so as to attest that this progresses in accordance to contractual requirements.
• Supervise and monitor the relevant reports on Weekly and Monthly basis
• Supervise and distribute Cost reports that indicate actual or estimated costs compared to the budget under the Contracts
• Supervise the estimations required and evaluate cost proposals submitted by the Contractor and make recommendation to the Client for acceptance/rejection.
• Support Commercial and Contract team in every issues related to cost estimations related issues.
• Report to the Project Controls Manager in a timely manner whenever required.
• Review documents and procedures relevant to this position to verify compliance with codes and standards, regulations, and regulatory commitments.
• Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
• Monitoring the cash flow of the project and review the cash flow presented by the Contractors in a monthly basis and every time as required.

Senior Quantity Surveyor
Quantity Surveyor
Cost Administrator
Payment Administrators

Requirements

• Bsc , BEng, BA or equivalent
• Has a total experience of 10 years, has railway experience of at least 5 years,
• Demonstrate extensive experience in a similar role on a comparable international transit system.
