Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Position Summary:

Assist the Cost Controller Manager in ensuring the smooth and effective running of day to day Goods Receiving and stores operation and provide assistance when required

Perform any other reasonable duty requested by the Cost Controller Manager.

It is not the intent of this job description to cover all aspects of the position but to highlight the most important areas of responsibility.

Core Work Activities:

General Duties

- Supervise and ensure that store and receiving functions are properly done on daily basis, stocks are maintained properly, system reports are timely updated and store level is accurate at all times.
- Check and verify daily posted/un-posted invoices with receiving report and counter sign.
- Function in place of the Cost Controller Manager in his/her absence, by reviewing/approving store issues and purchase requests.
- Assist Cost Controller Manager to prepare daily Flash Food & beverage cost reports.
- Assist Cost Controller Manager to input additions, new pricing and menus into the micros POS.
- Assist the Cost Controller Manager Conduct for the month-end stock take with team member (storekeepers) and update the inventory system with accurate count and value.
- Assist the Cost Controller Manager with the month end outlet variance report.
- Assist the Cost Controller Manager to perform yield test of meat, fish and juices.
- Daily import micros item sales in outlets to Inventory System for inventory reconciliation.
- Post daily inter-outlet transfer requests for proper cost allocation while maintaining accurate inventory reconciliation, (include spoilage).
- Conduct regular spot checks for beverage in outlet/stores (include par level, hotel stickers).
- Conduct regular spot checks on portion control of all items in the kitchen.
- Assist the Cost Controller Manager with the recipe costing of new menus and suggests sale prices/micros interface.
- Update the POS system in order to minimize the open food & beverage entries.
- Assist the Cost Controller Manager to conduct the annual operating equipment inventory and report the losses.
- Maintain records of inventory transactions which cannot be tracked through the system such as banquet events, cocktails and buffets.
- Perform any other reasonable duties that may be assigned from time to time by management

- Report work related accidents, or other injuries immediately upon occurrence to manager/supervisor.

- Ensure associates are well aware about the safety aspects of work
- Ensure associates are well aware about the fire safety/ emergency preparedness programs
- OSH roles and responsibilities will be effectively communicated to team members
- Participate in the risk assessment activities
- Provide all employees with relevant OSH information in an appropriate manner
- OSH Performance review to be carried out for team members for their OSH roles and responsibilities communicated and to be held accountable

Accor Control-related tasks

- Understand control frameworks including self-audits & controls defined by Accor Internal Controls team.

All cash handling associates are required to understand:

- Policies & procedures specified in Accor Standards such as Cashiering Responsibilities, Cashier Overage & Shortages.

Preferred qualifications:

English level:
- Speaking and understanding, reading and writing

Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or any other related field preferred.

Experience:
- Minimum 1-year experience in Cost Controls Department in 5 Star Hotel

Others:
- High level of IT understanding.
- Ability to use Microsoft package efficiently
