Job description / Role
• Responsible for Supervising and monitoring the Chiller O&M Contractor at the Plant site.
• Responsible for tracking and monitor the work of O&M Contractor and keep the records of the reports
• Responsible for Effective Operation & Maintenance of Water-Cooled Centrifugal Chillers, Cooling Towers, Pumps and Associated Equipment
• Monitors onsite O&M works and ensures user satisfaction, quality control, contract compliance, and adherence to safety regulations and codes;
• Ensure attending and closing Service request/complaints by assigned team as per the department KPI’s
• Lead role in defining the Spares parts and tools needed to support Plant enhancement and maintenance .
• Assign and follow up the periodic preventive maintenance schedule and reports on quarterly and annually for the in-house services.
• Identify energy saving areas and effective implementation of energy saving program.
• Identify the potential area of operation cost saving and implement alternate strategy.
• Ensure and implement Health & Safety for the assigned technician related to maintenance activities.
• Review monthly and weekly report.
• Prepare report on life cycle of the equipment and its performance.
• Follow up any other works or duties requested by Plant Manager
• Coordinate and liase with Customers and clients and Authorities having Jurisdiction
• To be available at the emergency cases.
Requirements
• Must have a degree in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 to 8 Years of Experience in Chiller Plant Operations & Maintenance
• Project Management Experience.
• Solid electro mechanical and O&M background with proven management of DCP plant equipment repair and preventive maintenance programs
