Job description / Role
Description
To ensure this department's continuous growth and generation of revenue by making the marketing plan in line with the principal strategy and work rigorously on execution of the same on timely manner, The Department Head individually contributes at an expert level to meet set short to medium term objectives and supervises/manages individual contributors.
- Solves Tier 1 escalated problems within prescribed guidelines ensuring complete customer/supplier satisfaction and contributing towards developing customer loyalty and principal retention.
- Interface with Finance & logistics team to ensure on-time deliveries of products and collections of payments from customers and goods ordering and payments to suppliers
- Prepare yearly forecasts & budgets and draw up weekly/monthly action plans to achieve the same.
- Work closely with all departments, especially the Engineering team to ensure timely installation & maintenance of instruments.
- Prepares technical & commercial proposals & offers
- Ensure proper transfer of information from clients to suppliers and vice versa.
- Update clients of latest product releases and other developments.
- Timely analysis of issues and product concerns to provide on-the-spot trouble-shooting wherever possible.
- Analyses accounts receivable ageing reports and provides reports to DM & FM.
- Conducts competitive quality analysis on products being promoted.
- Analyse brand performances for negotiations with suppliers for price, credit & other commercial terms.
- Responsible for planning and maintaining inventory and proper expiry management of products
- Ensure timely invoicing, deliveries and installation of related products at Customer site.
- Negotiate better pricing & offers with suppliers.
- Monitors work of Sub-contractors/consultants, whenever they're employed for projects.
- Assist Engineering Team with installations & maintenance of equipments.
- Ensure complete customer satisfaction with regards to products and support.
- Provide management team with details on upcoming projects, opportunities, sales & ways to achieve growth
Requirements
Requirements
- University Degree with a background preferred in Dentistry, Medicine, Nursing, Pharmacy, Science or Biomedical Engineering
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience handling similar product range and specialties
- MBA or similar Diploma courses in marketing or Administration is favourable.
- Good knowledge of the product range and devices used.
- Should have strong communication & negotiation skills.
- Should be able to work under pressure to meet deadlines and be able to multitask.
- Should have advance computer skills.
- Aged between 25-35 years.
- Well versed in English language, knowledge of Arabic is an added advantage.
Lab technician / Biomedical engineer experience in Qatar will be the best fit
