Departure Control System Support Officer - Qatar Airways - Doha

Departure Control Systems Support Officer (DCSSO) will manage Ground Services (GS) systems support helpdesk (24x7), customer services support and outstations for operational issues related to GS Automation.

DCSSO will manage GS Systems, Automation Support desk & Centralized Load Control, while he/she will liaise with internal Qatar Airways (QR) departments and external IT providers in case of breakdown, will proactively resolve the problem, discuss solution within the timescale, track effectiveness and set up preventive measures and consistently conduct routine checks in all Qatar Airways GS IT systems.

DCSSO will provide support to team members in developing and setting up of new processes as per QR standards and to ensure regulatory requirement are in compliance with Advance Passenger Information systems (APIS), Advance Passenger Processing (APP), Electronic System for Travel Authorization (ESTA), Secure Flight Program to/from US (SFP).

Requirements

You must hold a Bachelor Degree graduate or equivalent with minimum of one year with specialized technical experience and at least two years experience with airport operations especially Load Control, Check in, good knowledge of DCS adequate understanding of MS Word and PowerPoint and Oracle. Experience in an Airline/ Airport IT or Travel industry IT applications is added advantage.

Moreover, to be successful in this role, you must be able to work under pressure and tight deadlines, positive attitude, high sense of commitment, hardworking, you must have strong customer orientation, analytical, eye for details, good comprehension skills, communication and interpersonal skills
