Job description / Role
• Preparation of design documents and instructions
• Checking of documents prepared by consultants, vendors and subcontractors as appropriate
• Ensure that the depot design is aligned, coordinated and meet the requirements of the contract
• Ensure that both the internal and external interfaces are coordinated and addressed in the design
• Conduct or attend design review meetings with the employer, consultants, vendors,subcontractors or other design engineers.
• Checking of contract technical specifications to confirm adequacy and implementations
• Ensure the construction documents / drawings are consistent wit the design documents and in compliance with the contract requirements.
Requirements
• Experience on railway rolling stock maintenance work at depot
• Experience on major railway project , leading design and engineering
• Manager of design team for the depot and stabling yard facilities including stabling, maintenance, administration and operation control buildings.
• Bachelor degree is required.
• Candidates should be European nationals (Especially British)
• Two year renewable contract likely.
