We are actively seeking talented professionals to join our dynamic and dedicated team who will contribute to the ongoing success of delivering to the needs of our client. Our team is currently looking to hire a Deputy Director, Facility Management for one of our potential Air Base project based in Doha, Qatar.

Duties and Responsibilities not limited to:
• Directs and oversees of a multi-disciplinary and multi-national workforce of 100 to 200 personnel delivering 24-hours per day / 7 days-per week maintenance to the client’s utilized facilities, infrastructure, and supporting systems.
• Establishes and maintains appropriate Client and End User relationships
• Plans, develops and executes assigned budgets within the scope of the project
• Manages the procurement, storage and use of tools, consumables, equipment, vehicles, etc. and all other resources assigned to the Facilities Maintenance Division
• Manages subcontractor performance
• Develops and executes preventative, corrective and reactive maintenance plans and actions in accordance with the contract requirements
• Develops and implements effective Safety and Quality Control programs
• Formulates and carries out policies and coordinates activities to ensure the effective delivery of services to the client.

Requirements

• Graduate of Civil, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Master’s degree or equivalent will be an advantage
• Fluent in the English language required
• Working knowledge of Arabic is not required but will be an advantage
• Professional licensure or recognized equivalent in engineering will be an advantage
• Certified Facility Manager and/or Project Management Professional will be an advantage
• At least eighteen (18) years of relevant experience in facilities and infrastructure management and maintenance
• Facilities management and maintenance experience at similarly-sized bases, especially air bases, will be an advantage
• At least twelve (12) years of experience in supervisory roles successfully delivering facilities management and maintenance
• International experience with Gulf Cooperation Council, especially Qatar, will be an advantage
