Our client school is looking for a qualified candidate to perform a variety of complex administrative duties involved as Deputy Head of Secondary in Secondary School operations including instruction and school planning. Administer the policies and guidelines of the school system and provide administrative assistance to the Head of Secondary . Implement disciplinary procedures and policies related to student behaviour and achievement. Supervise the resolution of student, parent and teacher concerns; report student progress to parents and appropriate school system offices periodically. Other related responsibilities as assigned by Principal.
Candidate with British qualifications and experience preferred as this school teaches British Curriculum
Monthly Salary Range:
• TAX FREE MONTHLY salary between QAR 20,000 to 23,000 depending on experience and qualifications
Housing:
• FREE Furnished accommodation according to marital status & number of dependents relocating OR a Housing Allowance given between QAR 5,500 and 8,500 monthly, depending on marital status and number of dependents
• Utilities paid , up to QAR 300 for Single and QAR 500 for married approximately
• Transportation provided from school accommodation to school for first 3 months
Health Insurance Coverage:
• Medical insurance for employee and 1 dependent (spouse or child)
Annual Air Tickets:
• Annual air fare for employee and 1 nominated dependent (can either be spouse or children)
• Excess Luggage allowance of QAR 1000 (with receipt) one time upon arrival
Leave:
• In addition to official holidays, paid leave is allocated as per academic calendar and as per country Labour law. Minimum 30 work days per year.
Dependant School Fees:
• 100% discount for 1 child tuition fee when attending same school as employee
Visa & Medical Check Fees:
• Residence Visa Fees will be paid for employee ONLY. Employee is responsible for fees for dependents.
End Of Service Benefit:
• Gratuity of 21 days of Basic salary as per country Labor law, for each full year worked
Contract Period:
• 1 - 2 year contract - renewable

• Doha - Qatar
Paperwork Requirements:
• Notarized and Attested academic degrees, teaching certificates, transcripts, marriage and dependent birth certificates. You will be advised of school requirements

Qualifications:
• Masters Degree in Education or Leadership
• Bachelor Degree in a Secondary Teaching Subject from a recognized University ( From the UK preferred )
• TEACHING LICENSE FROM ONE OF THE FOLLOWING COUNTRIES : UK, US, CA, AU, NZ
• Must have excellent English communications skills and able to pass an IELTS test to level 7
Experience:
• Minimum 5 years teaching experience at Secondary grade level (In the UK preferred)
• Minimum 3 years experience as a Deputy Head of Secondary or in a similar leadership position
• Culturally sensitive, dependable, flexible and able to work in a continuously changing environment
• Organizational and management practices as applied to the analysis and evaluation of secondary school programs, policies, and operational needs.
