Design Director

Job description / Role

Charterhouse is working with a real estate developer who is looking to appoint a Senior Director to join their expanding team. As the Design Director, you will report to the CEO and be responsible for all aspects of design (including pre-concept), design budget, scheduling and project management.

Your main responsibilities will be to oversee all aspects of design, including but not limited to; schematics, concept designs, development designs and tender documents. In addition, you will be responsible for building project timelines, project spending and day-to-day operations of the Design Department.

Requirements

The successful candidate should have a minimum of 15 years’ experience within architectural design, and a further 10 years spent within senior management. Furthermore, you should have worked with real estate developers on high profile projects in the region and be able to demonstrate a strong track record of development design and management.
