Job description / Role
IBM Innovation Hub in Doha uses a Technical Innovation Platform that allows local and global innovators to develop new application ideas in the areas of Internet of Things, Blockchain, and Artificial Intelligence. This job is focused on planning, managing, and supporting the use of that Technical Innovation Platform which is based on IBM appliance infrastructure and cloud, analytics, and cognitive software. The primary use of the platform is the development activities of pilot projects by different independent teams. Each project will have different environment requirements which need to be fulfilled by the Technical Operations Specialist through the Technical Innovation Platform. Familiarity of IBM products used, related open source technologies, and DevOps is a must.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Overall 8+ years of professional experience with 4-6 years focused on infrastructure and operational services.
- Very strong DevOps skills.
Preferred Tech and Prof Experience
- Strong knowledge of the IBM Cloud platform, IBM Analytics and Cognitive software.
- Knowledge of IBM PureApplication System or IBM Integrated Analytics System.
- Previous IBM/IBM Business Partner employment experience
