Digital Media Associate for Vodafone Qatar

Role purpose:
• This role will report into the Media head hence will work collaboratively with integrated media team to support development and execution of media strategies and plans

Key accountabilities and decision ownership:
• Select digital media channels and make recommendations based on campaign goals
• Understand the pros/cons of each digital media type and how that relates to individual client strategies
• Responsible for staying on top of latest digital, SEM and Social media trends, technologies and ad platforms and sharing information with larger team/educate; Must have a passion for exploring cutting edge digital media platforms
• Lead for questions related to Social/SEM internally and externally
• Grow digital capabilities outside of core Social/SEM – online display, video, native, etc.
• Collaborate with integrated media team ( and media agency) to ensure seamless execution of media plans, campaign set up, and tracking; Collaborate with account, production and data/analytics teams
• Have outstanding organizational and analytical skills, attention to detail and follow up
• Management budget allocation/reconciliation
• Help set up online campaigns and tracking
• Monitor, analyze, optimize, and educate based on campaign performance with recommendations on inventory, channel and creative shifts
• Provide detailed reporting, analysis and recommendations
• Must embrace uncertainty/change and thrive on the challenge of doing something new
• Maintain the agency’s core values, professional standards and provide leadership to junior members of the media team and overall agency

Key performance indicators:
• Deliver comprehensive & effective digital media plans

Requirements

• Tertiary marketing degree relevant for position
• 5+ years of digital experience across multiple verticals, with increasing responsibility (e.g., ad agency media department, media company or client side)
• Speaks fluent English (and preferably Arabic)
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
• Expert proficiency across social channels (Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram), Google Adwords, Bing, Google Analytics and Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of Doubleclick, a plus
• Ability to maintain and meet client deadlines
• Work as a team player with employees at all levels
