Director of Admissions & Marketing

Job description / Role

Charterhouse is working with a global academic institute who is looking to hire an Admissions and Marketing Director for Qatar. Reporting to the Principal, the role forms part of the senior leadership team and you will be responsible for leading the admissions and marketing teams to ensure a seamless student customer journey and driving growth and market share for the institute.

You will be accountable for implementing successful marketing campaigns to ensure attraction, recruitment and retention of students and ensure the institute has an effective outreach programme internally and externally within the Qatar community. Responsibility will be to develop, execute and monitor the marketing, retention and admissions plan; manage the marketing and student recruitment budget and ROI of marketing activities; lead the student admissions process from admissions practices, customer service and ensure the student enrollment targets are met.


The successful candidate should come from a customer facing and/or business development role within the private education or hospitality sector, you should have experience in building and optimizing networks and possess exceptional customer service and follow-through skills. You should also have solid experience in campaign development and event management along with a proven track record in a senior sales, marketing or business development role. Candidates should already be based in Qatar.
