Job description / Role
Charterhouse is working with a prestigious company who is looking to hire a Director of Strategy.
You will act as a key participant in performing analysis of the business, establishing an overall strategic direction in line with the company's vision. You will be instrumental in developing, implementing and leading the strategic planning process and will partner with key department stakeholders to produce insightful and well developed plans. You will ensure effective and efficient collaborations with corporate accounting and financial planning as well as analysis to assess any financial implications. Actively supporting Senior Management as a high functioning team member, you will assist with the management and development of a high performing team, developing department KPIs and tracking progress. You will become a thought leader for the company, identifying research, insights and implications on any strategic issues as well as national and global trends.
Requirements
The successful candidate should have a minimum of 10 years' relevant work experience and progressive leadership experience with at least 5 years' in positions with managerial responsibilities. You should be business savvy with the ability to build strong relationships and influence and inspire excellence. A professional certification (CPA, CFA, or CMA) is advantageous along with a Business Administration, Economics or Statistic or any other related Degree. An MBA would be advantageous as would knowledge in Macro and Micro Economic Fundamentals. You will be a results driven individual with strong financial acumen and excellent communication skills with the ability to draft a compelling vision and complete strategic plans.
