Document Controller

Job description / Role

Coordinate all activities related to the doc. Control procedure including technical documents, drawings and correspondence.
- Responsible in maintaining site documents and drawings under site custody without any damage or deterioration with easy traceability and accessibility.
- To organize work load and to manage a filing methods systematically and management techniques.
- Checked all incoming and outgoing documents, making sure free from errors and it conforms to the project guidelines.
- Receiving documents and distribute to the concern parties for review and approval in a timely and efficient manner.
- Act as minute-taker (MOM) during site meetings with contractors, sub-contractors, clients and others.
- Maintains hard and e-copies of all documents in the filing system for easy retrieval and distribution.
- Coordinated with various team members to ensure the smooth flow of documents and minimize delay in the reviewing of technical documents.

Requirements

Qualifications and Experience:
- Graduate in 4 year course or in a Bachelor Degree
- With not less than 3 years related experience as doc. Controller
- With related experience in site supervision, documentation, transmittal and control reports.
- Need to be computer-literate, capable of entering data, preparing reports and setting up functions.
- Possess a strong visual awareness and an eye for detail and with the ability to work in applicable software. - Excellent in communication skills, as they often interact with clients, architects, engineers and other professionals both written and oral. - Ability to work under pressure and handle multi-tasks efficiently and effectively.
- Well organized in filing and safeguarding all important documents related to business transactions as well as project’s documentation @ site.
- Possess with strong integrity and honestly with regards to confidentiality of documents and information received.
- Independent and can work with less supervision and can work under pressure.
