Rixos Qetaifan Island North

Opening mid-2022, Rixos Doha Qetaifan will comprise a 345-key hotel, along with a souq encompassing 11,000sq m of leasing space, a beach club, a theme park and a waterpark. The resort will boast panoramic views of the Arabian Gulf. Slated to make its debut right before the World Cup, Rixos plans to provide a platform for showcasing Qatar as a tourism destination. One of the country's biggest draws will be Qetaifan Island North's waterpark attraction. The Icon Tower, the world's highest tower of its kind, reaching 82 metres in height.

Door Attendant

Being the first contact with the guest upon arrival creates the professional hospitable image of the hotel and carries this image until the departure of the guests, while carrying out his duties and responsibilities .

What you will be doing:

- Welcomes and assists the guests at the main entrance by opening doors of the cars.
- Assists guests with their luggage in and out of the hotel.
- Carries luggage to and from mode of transportation to the hotel door.
- Orders taxis and gives information and directions to taxi drivers.
- Supervises main hotel entrance.
- Reports unusual occurrences to the Concierge and Security Department.
- Checks daily events and arranges parking or clearance.
- Provides general information to the guests.
- Keeps himself fully informed of entire hotel services and activities, as well as general social and cultural activities in the city.
- Calls garage valet for car pickups.
- Ensures that cars do not park in front of the hotel.
- Ensures the flow of traffic at the main entrance.
- Ensures cleanliness of his work area.
- Knows and follows the fire and safety procedures of the hotel.
- Performs other duties assigned by his/her supervisor.

Requirements

Your experience and skills include:

- Male.
- Minimum one year of bellboy or similar experience.
- His work area is open air and requires standing for long period of time in various weather conditions. Lifts pushes and carries heavy luggage.
- Degree/Diploma in Hospitality Management.
- Ability to work from multiple shifts.
- English is necessary; a second European language is an asset.
- Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations.
