Job description / Role
Performs conventional and moderately-complex engineering assignments, applying engineering techniques and analyses within a discipline. The Engineer at this level is proficient in the utilization of standard engineering theories and practices, and Company procedures.
Independently develops and/or supervises the creation of engineering products that meet customer quality requirements. This includes defining the problem, establishing the work scope, preparing the budget and schedule, planning the work, providing technical direction, and reporting the work status.
Typical products may include detailed calculations, drawings, procurement documents, design and installation packages, proposal evaluations, technical reports, and detailed analyses.
Perform the following drainage designs catchments delineation, analysis of rain fall data, flow estimation, culverts design (location & sizes), ditches design, subsurface drainage, storm water drainage network, soak away design (trench & catch pits).
Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
Requirements
4 years Degree in Civil Engineering with minimum 5 years hands on experience in drainage designs related to highway / civil engineering / transportation projects. Must have experience with drainage software related to roadway / civil projects.
Must be fluent in English, with excellent written and oral communication skills.
