Description
The Deputy Store Director, will be an ambassador of the Brand. Under the Store Manager, the Deputy store director will lead and coach a team of business Manager, Department Manager, Back office Department, Client Advisors Supervisors and Client Advisor ,cashier , security & logistic ; provide full support to the Store Management in building client relationships and drive the Department's performance.

Client and Business Development

- Support the team in building long term client relationship, leveraging all clientele tools
- Establish a client-centric mindset in store to ensure the highest level of client experience and support the Client Advisors in the team in acting as style advisors to their clients
- Communicate and inspire the team on corporate strategy and relevant business information (animate morning briefings, training)

Floor Management

- Act as a role model demonstrating sales leadership to the team, supporting them with their own sales, fostering cross-selling and client repurchase
- Build and develop own client data base and need to be an example in term of quality of service.
- Ensure business opportunities are maximized through efficient sales floor management, being a visible presence and support, ensuring Galeries Lafayette standards are achieved
- Organize and coordinate all the back office procedures from: logistics, cashier, Maintenance, Floor management and security.

Operations

- Liaise with facility management vendors , including cleaning , catering and security
- Be accountable for inventory management
- Support Business Managers in staff planning (workforce management)
- Be the store point of reference to the Business Manager and Buyer team, proving them with feedbacks and analysis (performance, after sale details, potential improvement)
- Be the Voice of the floor in terms of client experience, sales performance, HR and administration
- Develop Client Advisor Supervisors to ensure their teams deliver the client Experience to every client, through demonstrating and modeling the 5 keys attitude. Support them with consistent coaching, identify their development and training needs, and those of their team partner with the in-store Trainer to tailor individual action plans
- Identify, recruit and develop talents, secure succession plans in collaboration with the Business Manager and HR partner
- Set individual and team goals, and sales targets; proactively assess and manage performance against expectations
- Manage and motivate the team to drive business, create a positive and harmonious work environment and foster cooperation between Team Leaders Provide consistent and qualitative feedback to the team, coach them on the spot and coach team leader in coaching their own teams
- Develop the business of the Department, by cultivating a comprehensive and strategic understanding of it and relating to all relevant business information
- Define and implement action plans to boost business and maximize product performance, leveraging visual merchandising, clientele, training and team management

Requirements

Requirements

- Bachelor's Degree in Management or Related Fields
- 7-9 years of Retail Management Experience in Big Box, Large Format Stores and
- Minimum 4 years in Managerial capacity
- Fluent in Arabic and English, French will be a plus
- Strong Communication and Inter personal skills
- Luxury Brand Experience
