Duty Manager

Duty Managers are responsible for overseeing the general daily operations of the Front office.

What you will be doing:

- Responsible in ensuring the efficient operation in Front Office
- Ensure that all team members are properly trained
- To handle complaint / incidents / accidents occurring in the hotel when required
- To manage & motivate the teams to upsell and to make sure that the rates given are matching with the instructions received.
- To ensure that a pertinent/relevant shift's logbook is maintained updated and to check the logbook from the different sections of the Front Office
- Develops high quality relationships with guests throughout their stay, in order to encourage loyalty.

Requirements

Your experience and skills include:

- Minimum experience of two years in a similar role in 4 star Hotel.
- Degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management is an asset
- Knowledge of Opera.
- Computer knowledge in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Proficiency in English language. Arabic & French are an asset.
- Experience with a hotel loyalty program is an asset.
- Passion for guest service.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Highly organized, results-oriented with the ability to be flexible and work well under pressure.
- Must have the ability to handle a multitude of tasks and guest requests.
- Should possess or seek certification in basic first aid.
- Strong guest service orientation and training skills background required.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize responsibilities.
