Duty Manager - Premium Check-In - Qatar Airways - Doha

Pro-actively, you will organize effectively and co-ordinate necessary activities to ensure efficient, productive and risk free operation throughout Premium Check-In. Moreover, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations and ensure that there is continual communication and liaison with the airport service providers. You will manage all areas of Premium Operations within the airport environment and to support the Manager Premium Operations with administrative and performance management of staff.

Being responsible for the overall control of your shift, your focus will be on the relevant KPI's, ensuring 5 star service delivery and you will ensure punctuality and safety of all Qatar Airways Operations. A person of action is the key to success in this role!

Your ability hnadle large team and to multi-task will be put to the test as you manage and organise the relations between airport service providers and users, ensuring workloads and resources are managed for optimum performance.

Requirements

You will need to hold a Bachelor Degree or equivalent, with minimum 5 years of job-related experience and worked in a supervisory level for at least 3 years in Airline Management /Aviation, ideally in managerial experience in airport operations or hub environment . Below the wings or GHA experience is desirable. If you enjoy problem solving, thrive on pressure, like organising, planning and are a decision maker, then you are the right person for this face paced environment!

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess strong leadership skills, excellent negotiation/influencing skills as you oversee the daily operations on your shift, supporting and monitoring your colleagues, handling passengers concerns, providing clear and concise communication to all units of the Hub Operation.
