Duty Supervisor Hub Control Centre plays an important role as you will ensure the efficient and proactive approach to all activities completed within the Hub Control Centre (HCC) on a shift basis. Working closely with HCC duty Officer , the Supervisor coordinates all areas at DOHA airport operations (check-in, transfer desk, boarding gate, arrival, premium terminal, VIP lounge, catering, OPS control, OCC, airport clinic, Local security, special services, etc.) and other Qatar Airways offices. Ground Services Hub Control Centre is a dedicated planning a central communication unit for the Hub operation.
You will support the Duty Managers, Duty Officers, and other staff within the airport in providing relevant information related to operations and prepare all the necessary materials/forms needed during the operation.
You must be High School graduate, preferably post high school training (apprentice, certificate), with minimum 2 years of job related experience, leading small team of people and with airline/airport background and or has working knowledge with Ground Handling Company.
Exposure to multi-cultural environment, good personnel development skills including team building, hands on approach to the daily operation and good communication skills in spoken/written English with proficiency in advanced computer applications are essential requirements of the job. Knowledge of Arabic language is an advantage.
Good understanding of airport functions in terms of passenger and baggage handling, weight and balance and D.G.R.Â Training such as Passenger Services, Baggage Services, Ground Operations and DGR are desirable.
